Nusa Penida Island and Lembongan are located in the east part of Bali eighteen miles from Nusa dua. Nusa Penida Island is the largest of the three islands and it has 40. 000 populations. There isn’t any hotel in that island. However, there are resorts and bungalows in Lembongan Island .It could be reached in one hour to the diving location using power boat. All diving areas are using boat because the villagers planting the seaweed on the seashore, and also the diving distance from one location to another location quite far and the current until 5 knot per hour. These islands have several famous dive sites with its own character with strong but predictable current can be expected anytime. Dive site is slove and wall. Boat dive, visibility 15- 50 meters with mild strong current. You can dive from 5-30 meters and you can dive deeper if there isn’t any current, but you have to be careful because the current might change directions in anytime. On these dive sites you may see coral grows close with each other that look like a carpet, manta fish, mola-mola or moon fish or sun fish, puffer fish, moray eel, turtle, woebegone shark, and also dolphin, whale shark, blue marlin been visit there . Water temperature is 27 o C nevertheless; it could be very cold until 17 o C on the month of August until October because the current from Australia brings the cold water.
